Los hombres protestaron por la ley Arizona. Antes del juego, personas se reunieron frente al estadio entonando ''¡Oponte al racismo!'' y ''¡Boicotea a Arizona!''

Dos hombres que portaban banderas de México corrieron la noche del viernes por los jardines del Citi Field en la séptima entrada del juego de los Mets de Nueva York contra los Diamondbacks como protesta contra la ley migratoria de Arizona.

Los hombres fueron arrestados por agentes de seguridad muy rápidamente sin más incidentes.
Antes del juego, aproximadamente 40 personas se reunieron frente al estadio entonando
cánticos que decían ''¡Oponte al racismo!'' y ''¡Boicotea a Arizona!''.

Otras personas paradas cerca de la salida del metro entregaban volantes que solicitaban a las Grandes Ligas sacar de Phoenix el Juego de Estrellas del próximo año
